Licensed Master Social Worker Supervised by Kathryn Garland, LCSW-S, CEDS-C
(she/her/hers)

I'm a Licensed Master Social Worker, seeing clients throughout Texas. My specialties include helping adolescents, young adults, and LGBTQ+ individuals struggling with mood disorders, chronic illness, and eating disorders. I know how scary it can be to navigate the mental health care system, which is why I take a compassionate, anti-carceral approach, acknowledging the oppressive systems that contribute to distress. I also live with several chronic illnesses, so I understand the sense of hopelessness, burnout, and even medical trauma that can come with that, and I'm not afraid to sit in that experience with my clients. Ultimately, I strive to make sure my clients know that they're the experts in their own lives, and I'm just here to help them navigate that journey.

My clinical experience involves working with individuals and groups in community-based mental health agencies as well as hospital settings. I'm trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques, but my approach to therapy is always flexible and tailored to each client's individual needs.

Above all else, I’m focused on building a strong relationship with my clients, and I feel deeply privileged to be allowed into their lives. I make therapy a judgment-free zone where humor and warmth are a regular part of the process. My goal is to help people bridge the gap between the life they currently live and the life they want to live, getting them in touch with what matters most.
