(she/her/hers)
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker in Austin, TX. I believe the client-therapist relationship should be collaborative, trusting, and authentic. I hope to connect with clients by truly meeting them where they are, free of judgement and assumptions. I am passionate about working with individuals and families struggling with anxiety, social anxiety, disordered eating, depression, identity issues, past trauma, and parenting. I work with individuals ages 7 and up. My golden retriever often joins me for sessions :)
I support clients of all gender identities, sexual orientation, cultural & ethnic diversity. My therapeutic style combines my personal characteristics of warmth and humor, while also incorporating EMDR techniques, Attachment Theory, Family Based Therapy and Psychodynamic work.
My experience includes working with foster teens in a residential treatment and group home setting, supporting cancer patients and caregivers utilizing art therapy, and working alongside refugee, asylees, and survivors of trafficking. Growth and change can happen when we explore our vulnerabilities, feelings, and struggles in a safe and supportive environment. I aspire for each of my clients to live a grounded, fulfilling, and optimal life.
